The couple and 80% of their guests must stay at the same Riu Hotel where the wedding will be performed. Only 20% of the total group can stay at another hotel, wedding couple must purchase a established wedding package.

For weddings in Riu Palace Peninsula, guests staying in Riu Palace Las Americas will be able to attend the wedding ceremony without extra charge. Guests staying in Riu Caribe, Riu Cancun and Riu Dunamar have to pay a wedding pass of $45.00 usd*. Guests staying in other hotels would have to pay a Wedding pass of $65.00 usd* (approximately) per person. *Prices are subject to change without previous notice.

Couples have to arrive at least two (2) full business days for Symbolic Ceremony or Renewal of Vows and three (3) full business days for a civil ceremony, prior the wedding date. For Civil Weddings witnesses must also arrive 3 business days prior to the wedding date.

Confirmed weddings cancelled within a month of the ceremony date or upon arrival to the hotel will be charged a cancellation fee of $250.00 USD*.
